Welcome To Swim Excell
Swimexcell Esher SC was founded in August 2006 as the natural progression to ‘Swimstars’ the learn - to - swim school. It was setup to develop talent, to improve skills already learned, to teach new skills, to gain stamina and to improve stroke technique, all of which lead swimmers to competition level.
Swimming is a skill-dominated sport and whether at club level or world-class, swimmers and coaches strive to improve performance, to maximise stroke efficiency (covering water as quickly as possible using the minimum amount of energy, thus enabling a swimmer to swim further and faster.)
No matter if you are nine or ninety years old a swimmer who has been taught and coached to a high level is always recognisable when swimming for leisure. You have probably seen them yourselves at the local pool, there is definitely something about them. Once learned well swimming should be enjoyed all your life.
